CD Replication Services

Thanks to National Media Service's CD duplication, all 1,000 of your band's CDs were sold at the community center's indie band promotion. People all over town want your CD. Competing music stores want your CD in stock. You'll need National Media Service's CD replication services.

What is CD replication, and how does it differ from CD duplication? The CD duplication process is similar to the CD burning process on your personal computer. Specialized equipment allows many CDs to be burned, or duplicated simultaneously.

In contrast, the CD replication process involves the use of a glass master to create clones of your master CDs. The "cloned" CDs are molded into disks which are then placed on a conveyor belt. A pressing arm comes down and stamps the data on to the molded disk.

When you submit your CD to National Media Services for replication, we will first make sure that it is free of technical errors. While your master CD might sound fine on your home CD player, there may be subtle dissonances that higher end equipment will pick up on immediately. To ensure a high quality CD replication, make sure that your master is recorded on a Gold grade CD-R. Prior to submitting your CD to National Media Services for replication, inspect it carefully for damage. Fingerprints, scratches, dust, smudges or oil can cause severe distortions of sound which will impede the replication process. At National Media Services, we provide you with top quality CD replication. Call us today!
